OU pulls in under-24s

The Open University has received more applications from people aged under 24 years than ever before. Numbers have risen about 20 per cent over the past 12 months, continuing a five-year upward trend that has seen the number of young people opting for the OU almost double. One in every 12 OU students is now aged 24 or under.
