Nuclear waste inquiry on stream

AN INQUIRY into nuclear waste management has been announced by the House of Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology. Prompted by what it calls "the failure of the UK to adopt a strategy for nuclear waste management that is both scientifically sound and publicly acceptable", the committee is calling for written submissions and will start hearing evidence in the new year.
