Lecturers' union Natfhe has voted to accept a two-year pay deal from further education college employers, consisting of a 3 per cent rise backdated to August and a 0.5 per cent increase backdated to April. From next August, pay scales will fix the maximum lecturer's salary at £30,705, while starting salaries will go up to £20,283.
