A student leader at South Africa’s Eastern Cape Technikon has been shot dead in an incident believed by police to be linked to student representative council elections.
Thailand arrests student en route to Taliban
A Malaysian university student has been arrested by Thai immigration officials attempting to ride a motorcycle to Afghanistan via Thailand. Muhammad Shukri Sattar, a second-year student at the Multimedia University in Bangi, told Malaysian police he intented to join the Taliban.
