The Malaysian government has announced a M$100 million (Pounds 16 million) scholarship fund for postgraduate studies in research and technology. Over the next five years, 1,095 students at the Malaysia University of Science and Technology, a private university collaborating with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will benefit from the fund.
