* The Institute for Learning and Teaching will probably be based in York, the Standing Conference of Principals will hear next week. "We are anxious that the ILT is seen as a UK body, and York has good connections to London and Edinburgh," said Roger King of the University of Lincoln and Humberside, who chairs the ILT planning group.
