Forty of the UK's leading medical researchers and doctors have been elected to the fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
Cambridge University academics make up the largest number of fellows from one institution - eight - with five professors from University College London becoming fellows, one more than from Oxford University. The full list can be found at www.acmedsci.ac.uk/
