The Wellcome Trust has received planning permission to extend its genome campus just outside Cambridge. The Hinxton site, home to the Sanger Centre, will be extended by ,000sq m and will include extended academic facilities and a start-up incubator. Construction starts within the next fortnight, with completion scheduled for 2007.
