Individual learning accounts and the University for Industry should support continuing professional development as well as access to learning, a report from the Council for Industry and Higher Education says.

ILAs could give individuals greater financial flexibility to help cover the cost of lifelong learning, argues the report, Partnership for the Professions, which is part-funded by the Department for Education and Employment.
