European women of achievement

Christina Preston of London University's Institute of Education and Bozena Mannova of the Czech Technical University have won a European Women of Achievement award for their work with teachers and computers. Their MirandaNet project, backed by more than a dozen industrial partners, has enabled teachers in Europe and in Chile to receive training and share experiences in the use of computers and the Internet.
