Dolly scientist sued

Ian Wilmut, who helped clone Dolly the sheep, has been accused of racist behaviour by a colleague. Prim Singh is suing Professor Wilmut and the Roslin Institute for £1 million in a race-discrimination claim. He is also seeking £1 million compensation in a case against the Babraham Institute. The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, which owns the institutes, said: "We strongly refute the allegations made by Dr Singh."
