Academics will soon be able to enjoy free access to a significant archive of medical journals thanks to a £1.25 million project funded by the Wellcome Trust. The trust has teamed up with the Joint Information Systems Committee to digitise and archive more than a dozen medical publications over the coming year. The trust is working with publishers including Wolters Kluwer and Blackwell.
