Diabetes work backed

Scientists at Swansea University's School of Medicine have been awarded more than £93,000 by the Bupa Foundation to investigate why weight-reducing surgery can lead to the almost immediate disappearance of diabetes in patients. The research is being led by senior clinical lecturer Jeffrey Stephens.
