* The dean of art and design at University College Newport was suspended indefinitely by the governing body this week. Faculty staff sent the college a letter of no confidence in Peter Sayers last year and students have been protesting about the college's failure to complete building work at Caerleon.
A college spokesman said "investigations are still going on".
