Crop genetics comes under scrutiny

Nuffield Council of Bioethics launched a consultation this week to consider the ethical and social implications of the genetic modification of crops. It wants views on issues ranging from UK regulations to the ability of developing countries to access agricultural technology. The deadline for comments is July 31.
