Crichton grows

A four-year plan to develop the Crichton University campus, jointly run by Glasgow and Paisley universities and Bell College, has been unveiled by the Scottish Funding Council. A "joint strategy" developed by local authorities, the three institutions and Dumfries and Galloway College - which is relocating to the campus - was published this week. The plan will allow more students to be accommodated on the campus, and to study a broader range of subjects, with more courses at postgraduate level.
