The University of the West of England is leading a major European project to explore how artists, designers, scientists and technologists can collaborate to improve colour management, colour digital devices and their print applications.

The Colour Research for European Advanced Technology Employment project will focus on how colour is transferred from one digital device to another, how it is measured and perceived and how it is printed.

Carinna Parraman of the UWE Centre for Fine Print Research said conferences and training events to be held over the next four years would be of particular interest to researchers in the early stage of their careers.
