(Photograph) - Canadian bounty: Michael G. Gibbons, dean of the graduate school and director of the Science Policy Research Unit at the University of Sussex, has been named as the new secretary general of the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Professor Gibbons is Canadian and has been with SPRU since 1992. The ACU is the oldest international association of universities in the world.
