£17m aerospace award

Cambridge, Cranfield, Durham, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oxford universities, Imperial College London and Queen's University Belfast are to share £17.3 million in government funding for civil aerospace research to be carried out by Rolls-Royce in Derby. Rolls-Royce will invest £21.5 million.
