Realise of course this is a major headache for universities. But don’t see why those who made the grade last week should have preference over those who obtained same or better grades this week. On courses with limited places universities must tear up last week‘s awarded places and start again on a new sheet of paper. Yes, some students firmly accepted last week will lose out. But it’s the only fair way.
