Excellent piece. Thanks. I think we also need to think about what happens when such a hollowed out approach collapses. This is because there is also strong evidence that tech-driven innovations aren't solving the contradictions or problems it is claimed they are addressing by their supporters.
My experience is the same so I keep with you.
